During my recent stay at Il Sogno di Manarola by the First, I was welcomed by a lovely clean room adorned with nice toiletries, a testament to the diligent housekeeping efforts that I appreciated. While the view from my room was decent, having a balcony would have significantly enhanced the experience, as the hotel's proximity to the ocean promised breathtaking vistas. Despite some aspects falling short of my expectations, the serene ambiance and basic amenities, including air conditioning and a coffee machine, made for a comfortable retreat after exploring Manarola's stunning scenery with companions. For travelers seeking a peaceful stay with access to local activities like cycling and fishing, Il Sogno has its charm, though it may not fully live up to the hype.
